Rufus Maculuve holds an Honours degree in Management and Cultural Studies at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts and Culture (ISArC) (2012) where he teaches the subject of Cultural Production.
He is a co-founder of Kaleidoscopio and the Executive Director of Music Crossroads Mozambique since 2009. He also collaborates in the program Umojacfc and Umoja Festival. In this project, he coordinates the music section in eight countries since 2003. He is a self-taught musician and founding member of the music band Kapa Dech where he recorded and composed themes as one of the band’s keyboard players. His works include the composition of soundtracks for A Ponte and Night Stop by Licínio de Azevedo, A Bola by Orlando Mesquita and I Love You by Rogério Manjate.
