Énio Tembe holds a degree in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management of from Eduardo Mondlane University (2018).
His final year dissertation entitled Idade de Pedra Superior no sul de Moçambique: enquadramento tecno-tipológico do espólio arqueológico do abrigo rochoso de Caimane, província de Maputo, compares the typologies of the lithic tools found at Caimane Rock Shelter with those from other archaeological sites in Southern Africa. As a trainee and assistant researcher, Tembe has taken in archaeological surveys and cultural heritage management projects in Mozambique, South Africa, Lesotho and Brazil.
